My I-94 extension (for L1B visa) was denied on Oct '08 and I returned in 4 days after they updated Denial status. Reason for denail is "lack of specialized knowledge". I am planning to apply for L1B again in next month (By showing additional certification). Can you please advice me
- is it fine to apply for visa again as it will be more then 6 months after it was denied
- Do I need to show the copy of denial notice during visa interview? Is there any thread available providing suggestions for those applying for visa again after it was denied earlier...

You cannot file 485. You will have to start the process from scratch. However, you can use the priority date from the approved 140.

Will there be any chance to revoke or cancel approved i140 if we file 2nd i140 with same employer . My employer is willing to give approved labor which is better (EB2 ,PD-2003) than my labor (EB3, PD-2003) . But right now i am on 6th year . I got a 3 years H1B extension recently. If my first i140 canceled (??) how about my H1B . is it still valid?

It depends on, your Priority Date, Country of Chargability and your application's category whether it is EB1, EB2 or EB3.
You can check the monthly Visa Bulletins to see what priority dates for each category are current as of now.

We are family of four and have the following status
Self - Adjustment of Status (AOS - 485 filed in July'07), AP, EAD and a valid H1 (renewed recently)
Spouse - AOS 485 (filed in July'07), AP, EAD, H4 expired end of April 2010
Son 14 yrs. old - AOS 485 (filed in July'07), AP, H4 expired end of April 2010
Daughter - 11 yrs old - AOS 485 (filed in July'07), AP, H4 expired end of April 2010
Does my family have valid status? Specially my kids since they don't have EAD. Shall I renew their H4 for valid status? I was in the impression that if 485 is filed then there is no need to renew H4. Please advice me. I am totally confused.

My details:

I485/EAD/AP: Recevied July 28
I completed FP appointment last week (Wednesday), but LUD has not changed since then.
Also EAD status changed twice (before undergoing FP) it said Card Production Ordered. Today it changed to Approval Notice sent.
Questions:
1. Is there any relation between FP and EAD ? (e.g. Prints appear on EAD etc)
2. Is that the right sequence in change of status:
"Card Production Ordered" followed by "Approval Notice Sent".

Hello,
I Need an advise on my H1-B extension.
I came to USA on on L1 Visa in 2003/March and I was on same visa till Dec/2003. ( 9 months).
In 2004 Jan I filed H1-B and my status changed from L1 to H1-B. Again I filed 2nd extension (for next 3 years) on this H1-B and I got this approval upto given till 2010 Jan.
My question here is can I wait upto current H1 - B approval validity even though total stay on L1 + H1-B is exceeding the 6 yrs ?
OR do I need apply for H1-B extension on my approved I-140 (curently in 485 stage of my GC) to get 3 more years extension as 2010 Jan will be my 7th year in USA ?
