Case:EB3
Priority Date: Sep 2004
Status: Labor & I-140 approved
EB2: Labor got approved November 2009.
I'm trying to file 1-140 amendment with EB3 priority date. Currently i'm thinking of going with Sheela Murthy/Rajiv Khanna,
could you please suggest some good attorney who can handle my case very well in a limited time? Thanks a lot and really
appreciate your help.

HI,
My wife is going to India and She has to get her H4 stamped again(I am on H1 and received my next 3 year extension and so did my wife).
My parents are also planing to visit me. Should I book my wife's appointment along with my parent's appointment , or should I book 2 different appointments one for my wife and one for both my parents.

I am applying for new H1b in April. Also I have 485 applied under EB2 with I-140 approved.
1. Can anyone tell me what all information about my green card status I need to share with prospective employer attorney to make sure they provide it in H1b application...???
2. What's alien number and where can I find it...???

Hi
I received my 485 approval back in April 2008 & also received my physical card in next few months. I applied for my parents extension last month ( I-539) who are here for visit. It was filed in CA. My last H1B was approved in Oct 2007 from CA. Today to my surprise I see updates in extension case with no message change but update in my H1B approved case, with message saying that this case is reopened & the decision is being reviewed.
I think this is some kind of error. Has anyone experienced this ?

We should keep an eye on this site for transcripts.

I used another 140 based on my regular Labor filed in 2004 and got my GC a
few months back.
Today I got this email regarding the abandoned 140. What does this mean?

In theory, you can be the beneficiary of 2 H-1B petitions pending at the same time. This happens fairly often. Both could be approved and then you would be eligible to work for either company as long as that approval had not later been withdrawn.

My sister, as part of submitting documents for her fiance visa application, recently got a birth certificate. However, it doesn't have her name on it. Odd as it sounds, the municipality says that this is common practice. It just has the name of the parents.
