Not sure if anyone else has faced this so wanted to put this out: I own a home and have a loan on it since 2003 (I was on H1 when i took the loan), now that the ARM is about to adjust i am in the market for refinance.
There is however a question on all the loans underwritten by freddy/fanny asking for immigration status and if the answer is EAD the loan is denied. They even sent me an explanation of denial.....:confused:

However, I have managed to secure refinancing at a substantially lower rate with a different mortgage company. Send me a PM and I can let you know the details if you are still in the market for a refi.

The USCIS automated line for Priority dates is still playing the PD's for June 2007 showing that EB-3 India cut off June 1st 2003 etc..
We have so contrasting images of the efficiency of USCIS. Hope they keep the same tempo as of the last week of June on Oct 1st when the FY 2008 quota kicks in.
They were/are so busy approving cases that they donot have time to update the message. Everyone from Janitors to Execs have been working for the last week to approve those 66K cases.

I was hoping against all odds that this was not going to be true when they announced it last month. The iron is that I have been current for the last 2 months now. But when one thing reaches the goal, the other slows down. The damn TSC is was processing June applications while mine is early August. I am hoping that they allocated my file so that when they reach August date, visa would be available for me.

Guys..I just recieved my I-140 approval..last week..shocked, surprised..but trust me..this works..hope some people remember about a similar campaign I had initiated a while back..I sent letters to Zoe Lofgren, Ombudsman, USCIS director and Ted Kennedy..apart from contacting my local congressman...

Did you mean in 2 months after interfiling they got 485 approved? Please clarify.

I got the same message on 4th jan and received the AP documents from my employer today..probably it may take 10 days to receive from USCIS through Attorney/Employer..don't worry..you will receive on time...

Receipting people are not the ones adjudicating the cases. They are different people. So there is no used stopping the receipting.
If this news is true, then we can see "wild" approvals before the end of September. Some people with complete cases may overtake others.
Its already end of September, today is the last working day for the month of Sep and moreover do you think the IOs at USCIS are determined to allocate/ use all the visa numbers for this fiscal year??? HELL NO , they give a rat's a** about it and that is why we din't see any "wild" approvals.

I applied for my AP with a RD of Dec.8, 2007, during the last 3 days I am noticing change in LUD , including yesterday (02/18). One surprising data I found was even there is a LUD on my previously approved AP.

but how to start a company without changing current status
Here is my status:
My wife and I are on H1 and we got our EAD's now the question are:-
My wife remains on her H1 for safe....until we get GC.
Is it possible me to stay on H1 and start a LLC using my EAD to do a parttime business ?
Please provide Pros and cons if any.....

You mean notice date? If your application is physically reached NSC on June 15th your receipt date should be around it. It makes sense for notice date getting delayed. However, your processing would be done based on RD only.
This would suck for older priority dates.
My priority date is March, 2002!! Application was delivered to Nebraska on June 15th but the Receipt date is in mid-July.
So all those filers with priority dates after me (did not come across any with PD older than mine) that got their receipt notices before me would jump ahead in line!! Who knows how many years more...

Pardon my ignorance.... Can you enlighten me as how Vertical and Horizontal spillover works ? What exactly happens in Vertical spillover and how is it different from horizontal.
horizonal is unused visa's from a category flow down to other categories this way:
EB2 ROW -> EB2India + EB2China -> EB3 ROW -> EB3 I+C, or
EB2 ROW -> EB2India + EB2China -> EB3 (ROW+I+C)
there is some controversity about the last one, some people believe it flows through EB3 ROW and comes down, others say EB3 is all treated equal. Based on data in the past (the fact that EB3 India got tens of thousnads of approvals in 05 and 06 even though EB3-ROW was retrogressed, means its mostly the latter (EB3 (ROW+I+C))
